How looks rating works on Looks Chat
1. Post a clear photo
Upload one photo of yourself and enter your real age. You must be 18 or older.
2. People rate you
Each person scores your looks and your potential from 1 to 10 and guesses your age.
3. See your results
Your average looks score, average potential, the crowd's age guess and their comments.
Rating goes both ways: when you rate someone else you immediately see how everyone else rated them, so you can check your eye against the crowd. The best-rated photos of the day show up on the Top Rated leaderboard.
What your scores mean

| Potential (1–10) | How good people think you could look with a better haircut, grooming, fitness or style. A big gap between looks and potential means easy wins are available. |

| Comments | Short notes on what's working and what isn't. Comments are about the photo and the fit, never insults. |
1–10 ratings vs the PSL scale
If you spend time in looksmaxxing communities you'll see the PSL scale, a forum-made attractiveness scale that runs lower and harsher than everyday 1–10 ratings, with tiers like "MTN" or "HTN". It's community slang, not science. Looks Chat uses a plain 1–10 scale that normal people understand, plus a separate potential score so you can see how much room you have to glow up.
How to get an accurate rating
- Natural light, facing a window. Overhead bathroom light adds shadows under the eyes and ages you.
- Camera at eye level, about an arm's length away. Close-up front cameras distort the nose and jaw.
- No filters or beauty mode. People rate the filter, not you – and they can tell.
- Neutral or slight smile, face fully visible. No sunglasses, masks or hats covering your face.
- One person per photo. Group shots get skipped.
Private and safe by design
- Location and camera details (EXIF/GPS) are stripped from every photo before it's stored.
- Raters only see your real age after they've rated you.
- Photos are kept out of search engines and image search.
- You can delete a photo – and every rating on it – at any time.
- Everyone pictured must be 18+. Anyone can report a photo or block a user.
Questions people ask
Is this an AI face rating?
No. Every score comes from a real person on Looks Chat. You see the average of everyone who rated you, plus their comments.
How is my looks score calculated?
Your looks score is the average of every rating your photo has received. The same goes for potential and the age guess.
Can I see who rated me?
You see the comments people leave with their screen names. Plain scores without a comment are anonymous averages.
Is Looks Chat free?
Yes. Rating, getting rated, the chat rooms and the games are free.
Can I delete my photo?
Yes, from your profile at any time. Deleting a photo removes its ratings and comments too.
Who can use it?
Adults only – you must be 18 or older, and so must everyone in your photos.
